SpaceandPeople renews ECE deal for five years

(Sharecast News) - SpaceandPeople announced the renewal of the agreement between its German subsidiary POP Retail and GB Service, trading as ECE, on Wednesday. The AIM-traded firm said the contract was for the provision of retail kiosks in ECE-managed shopping centres in Germany.

It said the renewed agreement extended for an additional five years until April 2029, offering enhanced flexibility and opportunities for both SpaceandPeople and ECE to efficiently expand and operate the retail kiosk business.

"I would like to congratulate everyone who has been involved in the development of our German business," said chief executive officer Nancy Cullen.

"We are, of course, absolutely delighted to be renewing our contract with ECE.

"The duration of the contract, combined with the additional flexibility granted, will enable us to provide a great service to ECE across their portfolio and to develop pop up retail further in this prestigious portfolio."

At 1046 BST, shares in SpaceandPeople were down 5.31% at 75.75p.
