Investment objective
The investment objective of the fund is to provide long-term growth of capital. The Fund invests primarily in equity of U.S. domiciled companies that have solid long-term growth records and the potential for good future growth. The Fund may invest up to 10% of its assets in Equity and other securities of issuers domiciled outside the United States.

James Terrile is an equity portfolio manager at Capital Group. He has 28 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 26 years. Earlier in his career, as an equity investment analyst at Capital, he covered U.S. health care supplies & equipment, pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Prior to joining Capital, James was an equity research analyst for Gabelli Asset Management Company in New York. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma distinction and a bachelor's degree in music from William Paterson University graduating magna cum laude.

Aidan O'Connell is an equity portfolio manager at Capital Group. He is also a research director and an equity investment analyst and has research responsibility as a U.S. small- and mid-cap generalist. He has 25 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 19 years. Prior to joining Capital, he was an investment analyst and portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton Investments. Before that, Aidan was a research associate and corporate finance associate at Hambrecht & Quist. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master's degree in international studies from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, and a bachelor's degree in French and English from Dartmouth College. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Aidan is based in London.
