Investment objective
The investment objective of the Fund is to provide a balance of capital growth and income, net of fees, over the longer term (rolling 5 year periods). The Fund focuses on sustainable investment. The Fund will aim to achieve the investment objective by investing in a global portfolio which is comprised of: Equity securities (60% to 75%), Corporate bonds and government bonds (5% to 25%), Alternatives (up to 25%) – alternatives would be defined as assets that have historically (over 5 years or more) had a low correlation to equity markets, such as investment trusts focusing on social or green infrastructure, Permitted closed-ended funds, including investment trusts and real estate investment trusts (up to 20%), Warrants (up to 5%), Cash (up to 10%).

She is the Lead Fund Manager of ouraward-winning Climate Assets Balanced Fund. Claudia’sportfolio management experience extends to privateclients, pensions, and charities with a focus on sustainableinvestment. She is a voting member of our InternationalEquities Stock Selection Committee, a Chartered Memberof the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, andthe winner of the Wealth Manager of the Year at the City ofLondon Wealth Management Awards in 2021.

Caroline has almost 20 years of investment experience and over 15 of those are with Quilter Cheviot where she has worked since 2006. She first trained as a Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers before spending two years as a consultant in their Sustainable Business Solutions team. Caroline graduated in Human Sciences from Oxford University in 1997 and also holds a Masters degree in Environmental Technology (specialising in Global Environmental Change and Policy) from Imperial College
