Our view
The investment objective of the Threadneedle UK Mid 250 Fund is to achieve capital growth from a portfolio of UK ‘mid cap’ equities. The fund is managed by Philip Macartney and James Thorne.
Not too big, not too small - the Threadneedle UK Mid 250 Fund is looking for ‘Goldilocks’ companies that are just the right size. Macartney and Thorne buy ‘mid-cap’ stocks which sit just outside the FTSE 100 index. These companies have ‘been through their adolescence’ and are on the cusp of significant development and growth.
