Investment objective
The Fund aims to achieve long-term (5 years plus) capital growth. The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in shares or other equity related securities of companies incorporated, domiciled or carrying out the main part of their economic activity in Asia and Australasia, excluding Japan. In pursuing the Fund’s investment objective, the fund manager may consider it appropriate to also invest in other transferable securities (including non Asian or Australasian companies), money-market instruments, collective investment schemes (including funds managed by the Invesco group), deposits and cash.

Fund manager biography
William is a portfolio manager at Invesco Perpetual based at Henley-on-Thames, U.K. He has been with the company since May, 2006. He joined Deloitte as a chartered accountant in 1998, but always had a view to entering the fund management industry. He moved over to money management in 2001, when he joined Orbis Investment Advisory as an investment analyst. He joined Invesco in May 2006 as a portfolio manager. William has an MA in Psychology and Philosophy from Oxford University and an MSc. in Music Technology from York University. He holds the CFA designation and is also a chartered accountant.
