Investment objective
The fund aims to achieve capital growth over time and provide income. The fund invests at least 70% of its assets, in investment grade corporate debt securities from anywhere in the world, including emerging markets. The fund may also invest in government and other debt securities and on an ancillary basis money market instruments. The fund may invest less than 30% in hybrids and contingent convertible bonds (CoCos) with less than 20% in CoCos. The fund may also invest in subordinated financial debt and preference shares.

Ian Fishwick joined Fidelity as a Portfolio Manager in 2007. He has over two decades of investment experience, the majority of which have been managing Sterling bond funds. Ian was previously Head of UK Fixed Income at Credit Suisse Asset Management and prior to that Chief Executive and CIO of SLC Asset Management. Ian holds a BA Hons in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Cambridge.
