Director dealings: Baltic Classifieds non-exec invests £0.5m, Liontrust CEO splits shares with wife

(Sharecast News) - Baltic Classifieds Group found itself at the top of Tuesday's director buys, after it disclosed a series of purchases made by a non-executive board member worth over £0.5m. The FTSE 250 operator of online classified platforms in the Baltic states said Edmund Williams bought 373,209 shares on Tuesday, across 10 transactions.

He paid between 133p and 136p each for the shares, with the company reporting an aggregate price of 134p per share, valuing Williams' new investments at £500,100.07.

On the selling side of the ledger, Liontrust Asset Management reported a more-than-£0.61m transaction as its chief executive split a tranche of shares with his wife.

The FTSE 250 company said John Ions sold 49,696 shares on Monday for 1,231p each, netting him a paper total of £611,757.78.

At the same time, the CEO bought 24,848 shares for the same price of 1,231p, while Paige Ions bought the other half of the tranche - also 24,848 shares - at 1,231p as well.
