Director dealings: H&T chairman invests, LSE Group buyback continues

(Sharecast News) - On the buying side of the ledger on Tuesday was pawnbroking chain H&T Group, whose chairman picked up 15,000 shares. The company said Simon Walker bought the shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange on 12 June.

Walker paid 444.35p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £66.652.50.

Following the transaction, H&T Group said Walker's beneficial holding in the company totalled 15,000 shares, representing 0.03% of its total issued share capital.

Over on the list of director sells was London Stock Exchange Group, as its share buyback programme rolled on.

The firm said York Holdings II offloaded another 8,200 shares on 12 June, at a price of 8,702.86p apiece.

In its disclosure, LSE Group said York Holdings II is a "person closely associated" with Martin Brand, who is a director of both that entity and of London Stock Exchange.

At 1450 BST, shares in London Stock Exchange Group were up 0.9% at 8,756p, while those in H&T Group were ahead 0.57% at 442.5p.
