Director dealings: Investec CEO makes £2.8m sale to new Mauritian entity
(Sharecast News) - Investec was at the top of the list of director dealings on Thursday, after it disclosed a sale made by its chief executive officer to a Mauritius-domiciled company linked to him. The FTSE 250 firm said Ciaran Whelan sold 691,816 shares in the company at a price of 459p each, netting a total of £2,844,955.53.
At the same time, Fletcher Street No.2 Limited, which is registered in the Mauritian business hub of Ebene, bought 691,816 shares for the same price of 459p apiece.
The company described Fletcher Street No.2 Limited - which was only formed on 21 February, according to the Legal Entity Identifier database - as an entity associated with Ciaran Whelan.
