Wednesday preview: Fedspeak, Beige Book in focus
(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus in the middle of the week will continue to be on the scheduled remarks of top Fed officials as investors continue to wait on the week's key release, the PCE price index on Friday. At 1745 BST, New York Fed boss, Christopher Williams, will deliver a speech, followed by his peer at the Atlanta Fed, Raphael Bostic, at 2300 BST.
In between, at 1800 BST, the Federal Reserve will release its latest Beige Book, a compendium of anecdotal observations of the economy that is published about a fortnight before each Federal Reserve policy meeting.
Across the Channel, at 0600 BST consultancy GfK will publish the results of its consumer confidence survey for Germany covering the month of June.
M3 money supply figures for the euro area in April are due out at 0800 BST.
