Wednesday preview: US new home sales, German consumer confidence in focus
(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus in the middle of the week will be on the US housing market.
At 1500 BST the Department of Commerce is expected to announce that new home sales were little changed month-on-month in May at 640,000.
Later in the session, at 1700 BST the US Treasury will conduct an auction of five-year debt.
In Germany, at 0700 BST consultancy GfK will publish the results of its survey for German consumer confidence in July.
No major economic reports are due in the UK.
