Wizz Air passenger numbers rise in February

(Sharecast News) - Low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Tuesday that both passenger numbers and seat capacity had improved in February. The London-listed firm stated the yield environment and booking profile "remained positive" but noted that it had moderated when compared to its January year-on-year improvement.

Wizz Air also said it has seen better-than-expected revenue trends for Q1 when compared to the prior year, underpinning "a stronger start" to the current trading year.
